Assessing your current payroll process:

Getting to know you and how you work is important to us.

Upon appointment, one of our experienced and personable consultants will visit your office and carry out a complete assessment of your current payroll processes.

Documenting each step along the way will allow them to make recommendations for improvements in specific areas, and report this back to you.

Then, working alongside your payroll provider, your dedicated consultant will be able to implement these improvements.

Payroll Implementation:

Changing your payroll software may seem like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be.

With our experts on hand, you can make it a smooth ride.

Your dedicated consultant will work alongside your new software provider and the existing payroll team to ensure that the implementation is as seamless and as stress-free as possible.

They will walk you through the entire process; from system configuration to parallel run reconciliation, all the way to signing off the live payroll, so you are always in the know.

They can help you to create detailed specification documents, formalise employee details, pension AE details and YTD templates.

We will even go as far as checking company specific calculations such as OSP and OMP, and ensure that all compliance legislation and statutory requirements are being met.

National Minimum Wage

The National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates are reviewed every year, and from 1st April 2020, the hourly rate for adults aged 25 and over is £8.72, £8.20 for aged 21 to 24, £6.45 for 18-20-year-olds, £4.55 for under 18-year-olds, and £4.15 for apprentices who are either under 19 or in the first year of their apprenticeship. HMRC penalties

Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must put specific staff into a workplace pension scheme and contribute towards it. This is ‘automatic enrolment’. For more information, click here.

NI Employment Allowance

NI Employment Allowance – from April 2014 the Government introduced an allowance for businesses and charities to be offset against Class 1 NIC. For the tax year 2019-20, the allowance is £3,000 and is claimed as part of the normal payroll process through RTI (Real Time Information). For more information, click here.

Holiday Pay
